Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has initiated her first official visit to India, arriving in New Delhi for a three-day stay. This trip includes her participation in the 16th India-Japan Annual Summit, where she will engage in discussions with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The summit’s primary focus is to bolster the bilateral relationship between the two nations.
During their meeting, Prime Ministers Takaichi and Modi are set to explore avenues of cooperation in crucial areas such as trade, investment, defense, technology, and regional security. A key component of their discussions will be an evaluation of the progress made in the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership, an initiative aimed at enhancing collaboration across various sectors.
