The whodunit genre is getting a jolt of fresh suspense with the third Knives Out film. The first teaser for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery has been released, promising a dark, dramatic, and star-studded mystery that will keep audiences guessing.
Daniel Craig returns as Benoit Blanc to solve “the impossible crime”: the murder of a Catholic priest (Josh Brolin) during a packed church service. The trailer sets a tone of high tension, focusing on the gravity of the crime and the complexity of the investigation ahead.
The film features a phenomenal cast, including Hollywood legend Glenn Close, Kerry Washington, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, and Cailee Spaeny. Each actor brings their talent to what is sure to be a compelling and character-rich mystery. The trailer also showcases a new, dapper look for Benoit Blanc.
The film debuted to an eager audience at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6th. It is now scheduled for a limited theatrical run beginning November 26th, followed by a global streaming release on Netflix on December 12th.
